Jaxon 9 month dr. appt.

Lucky kid is all caught up on his shots and didn't have to get a one today!
Today was Jaxon's 9 month well visit to the docs office and his stranger anxiouty mixed with recognition of where he was definitely showed. The minute the nurse walked into the room he turned and buried his face in my chest and whined. Poor little bugga!

Here are his stats:
Weight: 18lb 12oz (21.84%) We need to fatten this kid up!!
Length: 2' 5" (73.7 cm) (76.44%) Tall like his daddy!
Head: 44.79% of growth percentile based on head circumference-for-age. They didn't give me an actual measurement.

Over-the-counter medicines:
Acetaminophen dose (Tylenol):
Ibuprofen (Advil or Motrin) dose: Please see approved dosing tables or confirm dose with you clinic.

Foods:
He is now allowed to eat whatever we are eating with the exception of HONEY, PEANUT(S) BUTTER, & SEAFOOD.
It's a good think too cause he is sick of his baby food! Loves to feed himself! Not using utensils yet but fingers everything!

Tooth count: ZERO
He is cutting 4 I think. 2 on top, and 2 on bottom. Poor kid is in a little bit of pain.

Development:
He tested great in all areas of his development test. It is so fun to watch them grow and learn. You can just see the wheels turning and the problem solving to materialize! So fun!

Goals:
I am going to start letting him figure out spoons. This should be messy fun!
We got out the walker, he is crawling after Hudson so much. It's so awesome to watch them play together. I bet he will walk before Hudson did for this reason.
Teach more interactive skills. Play more games with him like peek-a-boo, wave good bye, pat-a-cake, etc.

Next Dr. appt: 1 year

Hudson 2 years

Oh my eldest! :) Hudson is such a good boy. He is growing like a weed! He just learned his last name and it is so funny to hear him walk around saying "Almeeee, Almeeee, Almeeee" while pointing to himself. Hahaha love that kid.
He just turned 2, crazy. He is beginning to get back to his old self and eating everything! He went through a picky stage but hopefully that is over.
He just got his very first bike. It's a balance bike that has no pedals. The kid sits on in and pushes with their feet. It is supposed to teach them to balance which is the hardest part. Once they get that down then the pedaling should come naturally. He is loving it!
Hudson is about 32 lbs, he is just over 3 feet tall, I don't have an exact measurement. I'll have to measure him tomorrow. He is wearing 2T and 3T clothing and size 8 shoe... big feet!
Right now it is winter and he seems to have a never ending cold. Seriously, when one ends he has a couple of days, maybe a week of health then he picks up another cold. :( poor kid. He is a very active and happy kid though.
The terrible two's have seemed to hit but they are mild. He isn't too bad. We are working on not being whiny. He whines a lot so that's a challenge.
Overall he is our beuatiful, happy, healthy, a little whiny, loving big brother that we couldn't live without!
He loves Jaxon so much and is so concerned for his safety. He is such a big help! LOVE THIS KID!!
